Many existing buildings have facilities built into the services infrastructure to facilitate commissioning. However, all too often these have not been adjusted correctly, either due to insufficient time allowed during the construction programme or inadequately experienced personnel and lack of instrumentation. The building owners find themselves operating a building with state of the art air conditioning and building services plant that does not perform. CMD Advanced Technologies Asia can carry out a comprehensive survey of the installed air-conditioning and building services of an existing building. Upon completion of the survey a fully detailed report will be prepared highlighting the condition of each item of plant, and where necessary the remedial works required to ensure the systems run as efficiently as possible. In may cases high energy savings in the region of 20-30% can be realized if systems are adjusted and controlled correctly.
